Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush is in a hospital after complaining of shortness of breath.

The 92-year-old was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital on Saturday and is responding properly to therapy, spokesman Jim McGrath stated in an e mail to the Related Press.

Bush is anticipated to go dwelling inside a few days, his chief of employees, Jean Becker, instructed the Houston Chronicle and KHOU-TV.

Bush, who served because the 41st president from 1989 to 1993, has Parkinson's illness.
